detailed description for the assembly
All users of *BSD are welcome to share their experiences and knowledge. Hacking on operating systems - especially *BSD - is well seen.
Can you remember? There was a time where logos, symbols and assemblies of *BSD were been at (Chaos Communication) Congress. Something is missing without *BSD on an event about hacking on planet earth.
- BSD is still one of the best operating systems.
We wanna talk about our personal taste and usage of *BSD. Maybe people whose never trying *BSD wanna talk about this too. What type of *BSD is maybe the right for you.
FreeBSD
- Who is booting from ZFS because ZFS is normal since years?
OpenBSD
- Who is maintaining OpenSSH, LibreSSL and stuff like that?
NetBSD
- Who is running on a lot of "pieces of hardware"?
Dragonfly BSD
- Who is living an alternative concept to a monolithic kernel?
Also welcome:
- GNU meets *BSD and
- other free UNIX flavors ans tastes
.
