The EDN Geekend took place in Dresden from Friday, January 16th to Saturday January 17th. Several developers came to introduce their projects and to participate in the workshop. here is a list of the projects:

Ein Theoretiker sagt zu mir:

Wenn Du ein gut verifiziertes System haben willst- brauchst Du formale Modelle davon, die Du dann verifizieren kannst.
Wenn Du verifizierbaren Code schreiben willst, nutze Haskell.
Wenn der Code auch Objekt Orientiert sein soll F#.

Ein Programmierer sagt zu mir:

Mit formalen Modellen kann er nichts anfangen.
Und der Programmierer will gleich anfangen Code zu schreiben- er will nicht auf langwierige Forschungsergebnisse warten.

Der Name des Projektes steht nun fest:

EDN

Echt dezentrales Netz wurde durch eine dudle Umfrage entschieden.

Die Beteiligung war leider sehr schwach: 10 Personen gaben ihre Stimme.

8 mal für EDN, 5 mal für Equi Nodes.
